ACT/SAT Test Scores Required for Diploma

Did you know that you could take the ACT or SAT multiple times?  You can!  And only send your best score to colleges and universities.  Also, a minimum ACT score of 16 (860 SAT) is required to receive a Cross Creek diploma.  So, our advice?  Take it early...take it often; study, practice, and get that great score!

Does Cross Creek Now Require
Annual Standardized Testing?

Cross Creek Christian School does not require annual standardized testing.

Because annual standardized testing is not required by Cross Creek, there will be no penalty for families choosing not to test, or choosing to test with another organization.

Our philosophy:
It has always been Cross Creek's policy to encourage annual standardized tests so that:

(1) Parents have recourse to an academic "barometer" that can be used to reassure opponents to parent-directed education (both in their extended families, and in their communities) that they are being diligent in their child's educational journey.

(2) Students have experience with standardized test formats so that they are comfortable with the ACT or SAT college entrance exams.  Even students who do not originally plan to go to a college or university sometimes need these scores to enter technology schools or programs of interest.

However, we respect a family's right to choose whether or not standardized tests are beneficial for their student or their academic goals.
